Shame shame... and other stuff.

So I bet you're all like "What?? Amanda is ACTUALLY posting something on her own blog? Doesn't she know that you have to blog MORE than twice a year?"...

Yes my friends... For this, I am ashamed..

I just want to let everyone know that my blog still lives, and that I am going to make a very decent attempt to keep it up! I love blogging, I do.. It just doesn't love me - still trying to "figure it all out".

You may also mark my words that as soon as I get my hands on a camera, I'm going to be posting recipes and how-to's GALORE!! I have been thinking and thinking and thinking hard about all of the recipes I could make and then post.. and I am just soo excited :) So BE PREPARED! I wish I had something to share at the moment, but no.. I am still technically a slack-blogger.

These promises will be delivered. Promptly. As soon as I get a camera device.

Oh, but P.S... how necessary is it to get a super cute apron if I'm going to possibly be in pictures here on this blog for all the world to see? I would say VERY NECESSARY. Don't want to take any chances with an old apron! :)  Here are a few I DEFINITELY wouldn't mind owning!

Okay, so hopefully blogging doesn't become a "4 times a year" type of thing. I think I would do it more if I was more familiar with how to work it all, and if I took more pictures and what not and could ACTUALLY get them onto a computer to show the world. But aaannyways, let's dive into my life and see what's new, shall we??

1 - Cooking/baking on a daily basis... is everyone surprised yet?

2 - My living place and roommates. I moved back to the Goodman Apartments (if you ever went to EA, you know that these are the apartments where all the boys go to mooch food off of all of the single, cute, homemaker-esque girls. Ha, just kidding. But seriously.. Our apartment now consists of myself, Brittney Decker (given), Kristy Partridge from Wickenburg, and Daphne Brown from St. David. We're all the best of friends and I couldn't ask to live with better, more fun girls. LOVE EM.

and that's it! Just kidding. But those the biggies right now I suppose. We also like going around saying things like "Mr. F!" and "For british eyes ooon-ly!" (if you watch Arrested Development, you'll know JUST how humorous those phrases are. Oh and while I'm here, I might as well blog about one fun time we had in particular. 2 words: Spencer Hippo.

Brittney always says that Spencer Packer looks like a hippo for some reason..? So one day she was talking about how funny it'd be to have a picture of a big herd of hippos and then have Spencer's face randomly be on one of the hippos body's haha, ahh.. The results are obvious here.

Oh, and as I was just googling the word "hippos" to try to find the original picture we used, google tried to complete what I was trying to say. You know how that goes.. The word was hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia.

Say THAT ten times fast!

Just kidding, DON'T. You'd probably get hurt. Bad.

They are some of the most amazing people I know and I am so blessed to be able to spend almost 2 hours with them every Monday night!

LOTS TO BE EXCITED FOR

Don't you love looking on your calendar and seeing lots of fun stuff just WAITING to happen in the next few weeks/months? I do.

In case any of you are not aware, although I'm sure that all of you are (HA), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (part 1) comes out 4 weeks from today. Just think... in 4 weeks, I will be sitting in a theater, witnessing the latest, and greatest to date, Harry Potter movie. It'll be glorious.

NEW GIRL IN TOWN

I have decided that the time has come for me to begin a new online hobby. I always told myself that blogs were for married couples, but i'm sorta coming around to the idea that single people can ACTUALLY have them, too! My reasons? Myspace - old.. like, haven't been on in 8 years old. Facebook - still good, but lacking a little something. Blog - totally unexplored! So how could I not? Especially when the majority of my family each has their own. I'll try to post somewhat often, but who knows who will even be reading this, HA. Being in college might make it hard to post new pictures and stuff, but I will try. So.. consider this my first official post!
